Becky Plank is a dedicated Special Education Teacher with nearly a decade of experience at Desoto County Schools in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She began her journey in education as a Teaching Assistant before earning her position as a full-time Special Education Teacher in 2017, a role she continues to hold with deep commitment and passion.
Prior to entering K–12 education, Becky worked as a Pre-School Teacher at Maples Learning Center, where she planned and directed play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children. That early childhood foundation gave her a lasting understanding of how children grow, learn, and thrive at every stage.
Becky bridges the gap between potential and performance. She specializes in developing structured learning routines and custom educational resources that ensure all students meet their goals.
Based in Olive Branch, Mississippi, Becky also offers private teaching services, bringing the same individualized, student-centered approach she uses in the classroom directly to families who want focused, dedicated support outside of school.
As a mother of a disabled child herself, Becky brings rare personal insight to her work. She understands firsthand the hopes, fears, and daily realities that families of students with disabilities navigate. That perspective makes her not just a skilled educator, but a true partner to the families she serves.
